Urban Mesh Design Ltd was founded in 2002 and is a Chartered Architectural Practice with a broad range of experience across residential and commercial sectors. Directors, James Beazer and Oliver Lazarus, both have over twenty years’ experience in the construction industry, thirteen as qualified architects.

In the last ten years we have worked on projects in and around central London. We have extensive experience of renovating existing buildings in difficult urban settings, from façade retention to top down basement construction.

We mainly work in residential, commercial and cafe/restaurant sectors.

We enjoy the challenges created by existing buildings, such as updating the services to 21st century requirements and keeping the planners happy. With existing buildings, we like to work with the fabric and to create coherent spaces, often copying existing elements and setting them against contemporary servicing or joinery insertions.
