Refitting a pub to create a new gastro pub

At the Crown & Sceptre we aimed to retain and enhance the quality of the original building - a turn of the century pub while adding

proper kitchen facilities capable of producing high quality food without losing customer space.

We stripped out all non-traditional features and altered the internal layout, opening up the customer space and organising the service spaces more efficiently. Any new elements were subtly incorporated to retain the original feel. The kitchen, however, is deliberately exposed to provide a new focus and emphasise the establishment's new role as a gastro pub.
